Hezekiah Washington Bowie married Agnes Lucinda Sharp. He was a soldier in the
Confederate Army during the Civil War. After the war he lived in the Santuc
section of Abbeville County with his spouse. They farmed for a living and
reared three children. Hezekiah was known as "Doc". He and his wife are buried
