She was born 20 October 1941 in Morgan City, St.Mary's Parish, LA- living there temporarily due to father's job on offshore oil rig in Gulf of Mexico...first off-shore rig in the Gulf.. She was the daughter of Chief Master Sergeant, AF RAYMOND LEE HAMMOND and IRMA ESTALEEN BOLT.
