| I have been researching family information for both my husband and myself. The surnames involved and with the most problems finding information are: Penney, Ahern, and Palovcak. The Penney family came to the United States in about 1894 and settled in Boston, Mass. Michael Penney went on to Alaska and then California. The Ahern sisters Margaret and Mary came to California in around 1904-1906. The Palovcak family came to the United States in the late 1800's I think. They first settled in Pennsylvania then went to Illinois. There are many more family members from both sides, so any help would be appreciated. |
