For many years Delma Boyett worked as a supervisor in a canning plant in Thomasville Georgia. He also owned and operated a small farm, which was located on Pierce Chapel Road in Grady County, Georgia.
Approximately one year before his death he suffered a stroke, and then later was strickened by another that took his life. He had never been seriously sick nor had he been a patient in a hospital before being strickened by the first stroke. He was 93 three years of age at his death.
