| John BOYKIN Sr made his will in Southampton Co, VA 1795 in which he named his 12 children. We've followed some of descendants thru NC, SC, TN, IL & MO. Our main interest being his son Mathew and Mathew's son Mills, but interested in all of John Sr's descendants. Mary Ann, dau of Spratley HOLT and Elizabeth CLAUD married 1st 1827 James Bond in VA, married 2nd 1836 Wm BOYKIN in IL. Marion Francis HENSON 1855-1940, son of Samuel HENSON, who died 1870 in Stoddard Co, MO. Marion married 1st Delyley C. "Caty" MILLER 1876, Butler Co, MO, 2nd Laura E. LANCE 1882 in Butler Co, MO. Laura dau of Abraham & Nancy ROLLINSON LANCE. Marion & Laura buried in Marion Co, IL. Rufus M. CREWSE married Myra WASSON in Rhea County, TN 1844 and they moved to Wright Co, MO about 1860. Myra dau of John & Vesta (CHOATE?) WASSON. Willing to share any info I have and appreciate all responses to this page. |
