| Research, as time permits presently, family members from the areaof Smith and Houston Counties Texas 1870-1920. My Father George F.(aka Frank), his brothers Thomas and Julius W, and a sister Georgia - were orphaned by a Flu epidemic before 1910. I last knew of Georgia living in Winona, TX. His brother Thomas lived in the Beaumont, TX area and his final years were in Woodville. His brother Julius W. died in 1925 and is buried near Arp. The Parents (My GrandParents) were John Warren Boykin and Annie Laura Sneed, m ca 1888. Georgia married William Johnson - a "Postal Letter Carrier" and lived in Winona, TX in 1953. Julius W. married Anna Lee (?) before 1920 as their Son - Julius W. Boykin, Jr. was with her at 3 Months and they were living with her Brother-in-Law Mat Bell in Smith County Texas on the 1920 Census. Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share any information I might have. |
