I am currently searching for more information on our family tree. Christian Bayer was born in Germany in the 1700s, moved to Maryland, and later to Ohio. It was said that he owned a small factory in Cincinnati, Ohio, that was blown up in the War of 1812. Christian had two sons, Samuel and Solomon. There may have been other children. I think Christian's father was Hubertus Boyer of Wuerttemburg, Germany, but haven't found records to prove this. My family line includes: Christian Bayer, Solomon Boyer, Cyrus Boyer, Francis Cyrus Boyer, Charles Francis Boyer, Guy Boyer. Areas where these people lived includes Fredericksburg, Maryland; Greenville, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana. Any information will be appreciated. We are willing to share information we have already collected. |
