NW. Spraker gives birth and death dates only for Susannah and adds the
following note:
"Nearly all died in infancy, those who survived were left orphans and
scattered beyond
tracing " Spraker and Virgil Tallman use the same incorrect birth order
for the children,
except that he includes 2 "infants" that she doesn't He supplies no
birthdates. they both
list William first Nancy and Susannah last, and Benjamin about two -
thirds of the way
down. This doesn't jibe with the known birthdates of the four surviving
children. Most
likely, there were 4 or 5 born before Nancy and one or two each between
Nancy, William,
Benjamin and Susannah, who was the last, being born just one month before
her mother
died.

May 12, 1827 issue of the Rockingham "Weeky Register":
"The subscriber will (one word illegible) take two or three Boarders on
as reasonable terms as can be had in Town. Country produce at the Market
Prices will be taken in Payment. She also takes in Sewing for Gentlemen
& Ladies, which will be done in the neatest manner and at the most
moderate prices. Mary Harrison. April 25, 1827"
