Five Boyes Brothers and one Sister left sheffield in about 1850 to find Gold in Australia. The only brother to remain in England was Edwin. The Brothers, John, Alfred, James, William,Henry,and sister Elizabeth Settled in Victoria. John Found gold and Built a mansion in melbourne, called Wardlow. It is preserved by the national trust.The other boys all became farmers, and settled in the south of Victoria, in Lovatt, near Colac. I completed the family tree some 20 years ago, It is now rather out of date, and I hope to use the Internet to collect data, and pictures for the family tree and Album. I have over 500 entries in the tree to this point and am willing and eager to share the data with any relative or potential relatives.
