xiii. Capt, Joseph3, b. in Chelmsford, Nov. 27, 1672; m. Mary (???). Capt. Joseph made his will Jan. 20, 1717, and d. Jan 22d. He makes meution of his wife "Mary," and his sons Samnel, Joseph, Benjamin and Jonas, and his danghters. Esther, Mary, Rebecca, Sybil and Hannah, widow Mary to he executrix.
April 26, 1733, a committee divided the lands of Capt. Joseph Adams, late of Chelmsford, one-fourth part to the heirs of Samuel, deceased; one-fourth part to Joseph, one-fourth part to Jonathan Snow, and one-fourth part to Jonas; one lot of 20 acres, lying in Billerica, the ancient home of Benjamin Adams, the land on Billerica line having a corn and saw-mill.

London, for the collection of legacy from her father Emanuel E., late of London, haberdasher; later she sent for legacies from her gr. mother Elizabeth, her sister Hannah and her bro. Samuel E. [A.]
