Hi! My name is Kathy and I'm looking for information (names, dates, etc.) of some of my ancestors. My father is Owen R. Boyle and he has one brother, Daniel A. Boyle, and one sister, Sophia R. "Sis" Bratlien. Their parents, Bridget Boyle (b.1881) and Hugh O. Boyle (b. 1879)were both born on Beaver Island, Michigan but moved to Chicago shortly before my father was born in 1921. Bridget's parents were Bridget "Paid Een Og" Boyle and Patrick "Paddy Hela" Boyle. Bridget and Patrick's other children included Sophia (LaFreniere), Mary Ann (Gillespie), Julia (Skopp), William "Brutz" Boyle, Hugh "Denemy" Boyle, and Daniel "Turner" Boyle. I have hundreds of names and dates of relatives from this branch of the family, but I'm always looking to update or verify my information. Hugh's parents were Ellen Boyle and Owen "Ropa" Boyle. Their children, besides Hugh, were Joseph, Mae (Nixon), Norma (Murray), Annabelle (Collins), Emma (Susanka), Ellen Sophia (Janosky), Edward, John, and Owen (these three boys died at early ages~scarlet fever).
