The Elijah Lewis Family Home Page

I am attempting to research my family tree, beginning with my maternal grandfather, Elijah Adam LEWIS, who lived in Independence County, Arkansas, at the time I was growing up. He was born around 1883 and died around 1958, and his wife, Fannie MEACHUM Lewis followed 11 months later. They hadthree children, Joel Robert, Martha Isabella (my mother) and Clifford Lyle. All are dead.
Other surnames I am interested in are BOWERS (my father's family) and LUSTER (my father's mother's family), All of whom lived in Arkansas. I have no knowledge of where they came to Arkansas from.
