| We are Eileen & Andrew Boyt and we are researching our family tree. We have traced the back through Swansea, where Andy & his dad were born, through Lancashire, Yorkshire, Hampshire, Berkshire and finally to Dorset, to the village of Sturminster Marshall and surrounding areas. We have found branches in Scotland, USA and Australia to date. Our roots go back to Richard & Betty Boyt (Boyet) in the mid 1700's. We have found our surname spelled in various ways, BOIT, BOYTE, BOYETT, BOYATT, even BOYD. We would welcome contact from anyone who can link in with us, we are quite happy to share our information with others. |
