Jerome H. enlisted in Company K, 2nd Infantry on Mar 21, 1864 at Chester for 3 years, age 18. He was mustered Apr 14, 1864 and joined the regiment on May 23, 1864. He died of wounds recieved before Petersburg, VA on Sept 19, 1864. Jorum was a Civil war soldier and died while in the service at a Virginia
Field Hospital in Yellow Church, Virginia. I question if Jorun is buried here if he died in a Virginia Hospital.
