I am researching my family lineage in Southern Illinois. I am trying, of course, to trace the Boyd side and am currently stuck on my Great-Great Grandfather, Elias BOYD (b. Mar. 26, 1833, in either Va., W. Va. or Ky.). My research also includes the my other ancestor families of: HART, LARGE, HARVEY, MATSEL, GREER and BRYANT from the White County, Illinois area. I have recently added the surname DISHMAN, for my G-G- Grandmother Julia (DISHMAN) BOYD. She was born in Ky. in 1845.
