| I am researching the Rooney family from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. John and Mary Rooney were born in County Carlow, Ireland; and married in Dublin, Ireland on August 26, 1866. They emigrated to America from Bury, England in August, 1872 and settled in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. They had nine children of which the first three were born in England, and six other children born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. But two of the oldest children born in England, died November, 1872 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The children are as follows: James 7/7/1867-?, Mary 12/21/1868-11/5/1872, John 2/6/1871-11/14/1872, Frances Ellen 11/18/1872-?, Patrick 1/15/1875-?, Elizabeth 3/2/1877-?, Bridget 3/22/1879-?, Francis 7/12/1881-3/1950, Joseph 12/14/1883-3/3/1886. I've just started my research and any information would be appreciated. |
