ANN DRU¹¹ TUCKER (BRENDA¹⁰ BRADFORD, HENRI ANDRE⁹, HENRI ANDRE⁸, JOHN ANDREW⁷, BRAZIL RANSOM⁶, THOMAS⁵, THOMAS⁴, THOMAS³, RICHARD², RICHARD¹) was born March 10, 1960 in Selma, Dallas Co., Al (resident of Marengo Co., Al). She married MORGAN EDWARD SWEATMAN December 11, 1993 in First Baptist Church, Monroeville, Monroe Co., Al, son of JAMES SWEATMAN and PATRICIA MORGAN. He was born September 11, 1960 in Camden, Ochita, Co., Ark.

Notes for ANN DRU TUCKER:
She is called Dru. Dru is totally deaf but received a BA from Lenoir-Rhyne in Hickory, NC and a Master's degree in counseling from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Al. She is a counselor with Vocational Rehabilitation. She is married to a policeman for the City of Mobile and has one son, James Matthew, who attends St. Pauls in Mobile. She attended Ft Lauderdale Oral School for the first eight grades where she was allowed to use no sign language whatsoever. She is adept at lip reading. She transferred to St Rita's School for the Deaf in Cincinatti, Ohio where she learned sign language. She then transferred to her home town of Linden, Al where she graduated from Marengo Academy. She was appointed an ambassador for the State of Alabama by Gov George Wallace. She serves on the State Board of Licensure for interpreters at the pleasure of the governor. She received a national award in San Francisco for volunterism. It was awarded by Eddy Albert who could not get over how much she looked like Audrey Hepburn. He said she even acted like her so you'll have some idea of her appearance. Dru is a devout Catholic. (written 2002)

He married MARGARET ANN DODSON March 09, 1995. She was born January 02, 1964.
