In the Death Records Registered in the Town of Charlestown, MA (vol 12, Record #60) it indicates: Thomas Bradbury died June 19, 1849. Male, Widowed, White, Age 73, Occupation Shoemaker, died of Heart Disease.

An obituary in the Boston Herald dated June 20, 1849, Page 4 reads:
"SUDDEN DEATH. Thomas Bradbury, shoemaker, residing in Charlestown, was taken suddenly ill yesterday afternoon, while at work in his shop on Water Street, and expired before medical assisstance could be summoned. The cause of his death is supposed to be an affection of the heart. He was a young man of steady habits and much respected by his associates." (The "young man" is obviously in error since the death records indicate he was 73 years old)
