Elliott and Helen Sperry and her mother and father are buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Cherryfield. They are located in the old section. Come through the first set of gates then proceed to the back through a Black wrought iron archway gate. Proceed right around the circumference to the back side on the right, down the hill backed up against the woods. There is a large Gravestone with John Strout and Alice Luella (Allen) Strout engraved on it. In front of it are four smaller stones for John W. Strout, Alice Luella Allen Srout, Helen Strout Sperry, and Elliott S Sperry.

There is an Allen plot right across the street from the Strout/Sperry plot (on the left side of the street). In it are Charles A Allen born 1833 died 1909 and Addie L wife of Charles A Allen born 1840 died 1917.

Notes for Elliott Stafford Sperry:
When Elliott was about 7 years old his mother remarried (there must have been a divorce from Willis Philester Sperry). She married 2nd Alden Robertson and they apparently moved to Bangor from Sullivan. Alden died in Bangor, as did Elliott.

The following text is from the Book "Sullivan and Sorrento since 1776" page 293-294: " Ralph E. Robertson ... was engaged with his half brother, Elliott Sperry of Bangor in the management of a general store at S. Gouldsboro..."
