"Many friends will deeply regret the passing of Mrs. Georgia M. Bradbury, wife of Charles E. Bradbury, which occurred Sunday afternoon at her home 52 Curve Street after a brief illness, at the age of 58 years. Left in the family besides her husband are her son and daughter , Frederick C. Bradbury and Mrs. James J. Silke both of Bangor and her foster children brought up as her own Theodore Chase and Mrs. Dorothy Power, now of New Haven Conn.; also a brother Nicolas Perkins of Bangor; a grand-daughter, Miss Thelma Silke and two grandsons, Charles and (Frederick) Clayton Bradbury (Jr). An aunt, Mrs. Georgia Cowles, formerly of New Haven, Conn, now 88 years of age has lived in the family for the past five years. There are several cousins.
Mrs. Bradbury attended the Universalist Church. She was a member of Excelsior Rebekah lodge, the Ladies Auxillary, Oriental Lodge N.E.O.P., United Order of the Golden Cross and Harmony Camp R.N. of A. In all of which she was a most valued member. Of a kindly and sympathetic disposition, much devoted to her family and loyal to her friends, she will be much missed and mourned. The time of the funeral will be announced."
