Maud E. Lacy (daughter of William Lorton Lacy and Lavinia A. Nason)^{1699, 1700, 1701} was born September 09, 1875 in Bangor, Penobscot, ME^{1702, 1703, 1704}, and died October 25, 1893 in Bangor, Penobscot, ME¹⁷⁰⁵. She married John E. Hammond on April 13, 1892 in Hampden, Penobscot, ME^{1706, 1707}, son of John B. Hammond and Olive E. Rowe.

Notes for Maud E. Lacy:
Maud died a few months after giving birth to Viola. John E. Hammond was an alcoholic so Viola was brought up by Maud's parents (Viola's Grandparents). Her Aunt's were like sisters to her and Alma, Lavina, and Gertrude were particularly close to her.

Her age on Marriage Certificate was 18 but her age when computed from her Death Certificate would have had her 16 years 7 months and 4 days at her marriage.
