In Pine Grove cemetery in Cherryfield there is a plot with large monument with the name Allen on the front and Bray on the side for George M. Allen (1839-1907) and his wife Mary S. Strout (1842-1907). In the front right corner of this plot is the stone with the inscription "Cynthia F. wife John Strout died Dec 11, 1890 AE 80 years 4 months 27 days". There is no stone for John Strout here.
