George M. Allen (b. June 25, 1839, d. December 09, 1907)

George M. Allen (son of Amos Allen and Catherine Sawyer)^{163, 164, 165, 166, 167} was born June 25, 1839 in Addison, Washington, ME^{168, 169, 170, 171}, and died December 09, 1907 in Cherryfield, Washington, ME^{172, 173, 174, 175}. He married Mary S. Strout, daughter of John H. Strout and Cynthia F Wallace.

In Pine Grove cemetery in Cherryfield there is a plot with large monument with the name Allen on the front and Bray on the side for George M. Allen (1839-1907) and his wife Mary S. Strout (1842-1907). In the front right corner of this plot is a stone with the inscription "Cynthia F. wife John Strout died Dec 11, 1890 AE 80 years 4 months 27 days". This is Mary S. Strout's mother. There is no stone for John Strout here
