Amos Allen (b. April 22, 1797, d. May 18, 1859)

Amos Allen (son of Robert Allen and Sarah Ingersoll)^{135, 136, 137, 138, 139} was born April 22, 1797 in Columbia, ME^{140, 141, 142}, and died May 18, 1859 in Cherryfield, ME^{143, 144, 145}. He married Catherine Sawyer on December 09, 1820 in Columbia, ME^{146, 147, 148}, daughter of Joseph Sawyer and Sarah Dyer.

"Old" Cemetery located on east side of Main street in Cherryfield midway bewteen the two bridges. All bushes cut and stones righted and repaired in 1979.
