"Bangor man On EMGH Danger List With Head Injuries
Fred C Bradbury, 60, of 3 Allen Street, Bangor mover, is on the danger list at the Eastern Maine General Hospital with head injuries sustained while at work installing machinery in the new NEWS mechanical building at Main and Buck Streets. According to witnesses a hoist attached to a heavy piece of machinery slipped causing a plank to flip up and strike Bradbury on the side of the head. He was taken to the hospital in the fire department ambulance and later in the day attaches said his name was on the danger list."

" F C Bradbury, Former Bangor Councilman, Dies
The death of Frederick C Bradbury, 69, a former Bangor City Councilman, and for many years a well known Maine Trucker, occurred Thursday in a local hospital. He was born in Bangor, the son of Charles E and Georigie Perkins Bradbury. He is survived by his wife, Viola Bradbury; one niece Mrs. Thelma Luosey, Bangor; and three grandchildren.
He was a member of the Rising Virtue Lodge, F, and A.M.; a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Anah Temple, Order of the Mystic Shrine, and during World War I was a member of the Third Maine Infantry. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence, 424 Hammond Street. Friends may call this afternoon and evening."
