Notes for Anna Page: Ann / Anna / Annie's last name is based upon the following information from "Vital Records of Old Town, Maine Prior to 1892" and other information found in the noes for Edwin Bradbury and Mary Ann McPhetres and personal observation by Charles E Bradbury III of the cemetery plot where Ann is buried.
1) Page 60: Marriage Intentions/Marriages - Book B: 1827-1839: Abner G Burbank married & Mrs. Anna McPhetres (intentions) 20 Sep 1829.
2) (Personal observation by Charles E Bradbury III) Abner G Burbank and wife Annie and son Sanford J McPhetres (along with others) are buried in Snow's corner cemetery in the center row where the older gravestones are about 50 yards from the entrance. Sanford J McPheters tombstone reads "Sanford J McPheters Died June 27, 1855 AE 33 years 6 mos". All people buried in this lot are named McPheters/McPhetres with Abner G Burbank being the only exception. (This links Sanford J McPheters to his mother Annie / Ann.)
3) Page 14: "Children of Moses & Ann McPhetres: Mary Ann McPhetres, b. 30 May 1819 Sanford J McPhetres, b. 11 Jan 1822"
Given Sanford died June 27, 1855 this would make his age at death 33 years 5 months and 16 days - consistent with the tombstone in #2 which say 33 years 6 mos
(This also links Sanford J McPhetres to his mother Ann and Mary Ann to her mother Ann. "Ann" is referred to as Anna in #1, Annie in #2 and Ann in #3)
4) Given the many census records we know that Ann was born c 1799-1800 (See Mary Ann McPheters notes) . Furthermore, in #3 above, having their first child born 30 May 1819, one would conclude the marriage probably took place 1817-1818.
5) Page 10: re:188-23 of the First Town Record Book, 1806-1827 contained within the aforementioned book (VR Old Town) it announces the marriage intentions of:
"Moses McPhetres & Anna Page m. (i) 5 May 1817"
(This is consistent with the hypothesis given in #4 (that the marriage date would have been 1817-1818))
6) There are no other combinations of Moses McPheters/McPhetres and Ann/Anna/Annie anyone in the entire book "Vital Records of Old Town, Maine Prior to 1892" so this is likely Anna Page who m(1) Moses McPheters, and m(2) Abner G Burbank.
See important notes on wife of Edwin Bradbury mary Ann McPheters relating to Annie McPheters Burbank and the 1840, 1850, and 1860 census.
