Moses Merrill (son of Daniel Merrill and Sarah Clough)¹⁹⁵⁹ was born September 03, 1683 in Newbury, Essex, Mass^{1959, 1960}, and died January 17, 1756 in Salisbury, Essex, Mass^{1961, 1962}. He married Mary Clough on Aft. 1695¹⁹⁶³, daughter of Caleb Clough and <Unnamed>.

Moses(3) Merrill (Daniel(2)) was born 3 Sep 1683 in Newbury, MA and died 17 Jan 1756 in Salisbury, MA, where he had lived from his boyhood. His home was in a section then known as "Pitch Pine plain", a mile and a half from East Salisbury village, on the road leading to Seabrook. He and his wife Mary joined the Congregational Church in Salisbury 21 May 1710, and he became a deacon of the church. His wife died 15 Dec 1760. Children born in Salisbury
