THE BRADEN AND REEVE FAMILYUpdated July 28, 2005 | CindyBraden [email protected] |
After searching for years for information on the REEVE side of my family I came across the Long Island website http://www.longislandgenealogy.com/reeve/fam02117.htm.It has information going back to 1500’s or farther on the Reeve line.I will cross-reference the names since REEVE was combined with all REEVES and see what I come up with. I also found Louis C. Reeve and Anna (my grandfather/grandmother) on the 1900 census as a lodger in Colorado.Maybe it was their honeymoon or something. I finely found a link to the Caruso side of the family. I found my grandfather Antonino Caruso on the Ellis Island Manifest showing that he arrived on the Prin'pe di Piemonte on October 30, 1913 with his brother Santo Caruso age 27 at the time. It shows that they departed from Nicosia, Sicily through Palermo to the United States. I have been pretty successful on the Trapani side. My grandmother, Grace Trapani-Caruso came from a small town in Sicily called Sperlinga. At this time I have family records back to the early 1800's. Thanks to the many other Braden's out there researching the Braden family line. I recently came across information on the Braden and Kimble side of the family, so I am adding them to the family tree. This will continue to be a work in progress, so please e-mail me with any information on the Braden & Reeve family, I would greatly appreciate it. Any information on my family line would be greatly appreciated.
