Kate Mae Martin is the daughter of Anderson Duke and Rebecca Ann (Beachum) Martin. Kate was born July 15, 1882 in Itawamba County, Mississippi. She married Jessie E. Martin, the son of Allen and Susannah (Berry) Little, about 1905 in Itawamba County, Mississippi. Kate is the mother of St. Elmo Little, born 1906; Sybil G. Little, born about 1910; Hazel L. Little, born 1912; St. Clair Little, born November 1914; Lillian Little, born Febuary 2, 1916; Jesse Mae Little, born January 6, 1918; Keys Dwight Little, who later changed his name to Dixie Lee Martin.
Kate passed away August 21, 1978 in Winter Garden, Orange County, Florida. Kate is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Orange County, Florida, where her husband is buried.
