Jim was a son of Willie N. and Doshie (Kelly) Puckett. Jim was born in 1899 and died 1 August 1978. Jim is a brother to Myrtie Puckett, Mattie Puckett, William Earnest Puckett, Mattie Puckett, Sallie Puckett and Winne Puckett.
