Notes for G
EORGE HAILE:
The name is spelled Hale, Haile, Heale.

George was passenger #10 on the ship "The Supply" in 1620 when it arrived on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The passenger list seems to show him as aged 13, but it could read 18, it's hard to be sure.
He resided in James City by 24 Jun 1624, living at the home of Sir Francis Wyatt who was also on "The Supply". (See "Hotten's Original List of Persons of Quality")

George sold 300 acres to Thomas Nallett, 21 Feb 1651/52 in Northumberland County, VA. According to the "Virginia Colonial Abstracts for Northumberland County", Volume 19, on 22 July, George Hale was upwards of 60 years and was exempt from the taxation.

George is said to have married a young English girl ca 1626/27.
