2. ANNA SUSANNA DOROTHEA2 SCHOLL (PHILIP PETER1) was born September 27, 1741 in Baaden, Weyerbach, Germany, and died February 11, 1823 in PA. She married JOHN PETER SCHOLL Abt. 1772 in PA. He was born April 07, 1738, and died March 18, 1814 in PA.

Notes for A
NNA SUSANNA DOROTHEA SCHOLL:
Despite the fact that records prove the following story to be false, I have included it because the family of Anna Susanna Dorothea Scholl, the eldest daughter of Phillip and his first wife still keep it as a part of their family traditiion:

Phillip and his first wife are said to have had a small son who died young, but had been cared for by Anna Susanna after the death of her mother.
When Anna's brother died, Phillip remarried and after muc fighting with her stepmother, Anna ran away from home to find her way to America.
She met up with the family of JOhn Peter Scholl and they took her under their wing. She sailed with them, working for her passage, on the snow "Louisa" and arrived at the port of Philadelphia on the 8th day of November 1752. The plague overtook the ship while on it's voyage to America and John's parents and siblings all perished.
Anna married John about twenty years later.
Her father, Phillip, and his second wife, Elizabeth Catherine, and at least 2 children are said to have sailed to America sometime later.
Although this story is interesting, the baptismal record of Phillip's daughter, Maria Magdalena Scholl, dated 14 April 1751, New Hanover Lutheran Church in Falkner's Swamp, Montgomery CO. PA and his Land Patent of Berks County, PA, dated 1751, show Phillip Peter had to have been in America no later than the summer of 1750.
It is likely that perhaps Anna didn't get along with her stepmother and ran away from home to live with her Uncle after the family arrived in America as a unit.

Notes for J
OHN PETER SCHOLL:
Parents said to have lived in the Black Forest Region of Germany.

He came to America on the snow "Louisa" and arrived in Philadelphia on 8 Nov 1752.

John and Anna settled near Pine Grove, Schuylkill CO. PA, on what later became the William Lutz and William Kreamer farms.

Both are buried in Kermerling's Church Cemetery, Freedensburg, Schuylkill CO. PA. The following is inscribed on their stones:
