William Williams, born 24 March 1815 Pickens Co. SC died from wounds sustained in the Battle of First Manassas 18 Feb 1862 Pickens Co. SC, married Elizabeth "Betsy" Reid, born 15 Jan 1818 Pickens Co. SC daughter of Nathaniel and Margaret "Peggy" (Hill) Reid, died 24 Dec 1890 Pickens Co. SC. Both buried Oolenoy Baptist Church Cemetery, Pickens Co. SC. NOTE: Some say she was Elizabeth Brown Reid. This is incorrect.
