CONNIFF 1869 in Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter of OWEN CONNIFF and ELIZABETH CALLAHAN. She was born Jan 1, 1853 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and died Nov 14, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Henry Kunkel
      Henry Kunkel 83 Years old, died yesterday at his home, 514 South East Street. Funeral services will be held Monday morning. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
      Mr Kunkel was born in Germany and came to Indianapolis when he was 14 years old. He worked in what was then known as the Perry Wheel works. Later he took a position as driver for the Indianapolis Street Railway Company when the cars were drawn by mules. He remained with the company twenty-five years. In 1906 he became a guard at the Merchants' National Bank, retiring in 1922.     
      Fifty-seven years ago he was married to Miss Mary Conniff of Indianapolis. She died in 1926.
      Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Henreitta Caze, Mrs. Mayme Nicholas, Mrs. Agatha Brouchhausen and Mrs. Anna Droege: two sons, harry and George Kunkel and Brother Charles Kunkel, all of Indianapolis, and another brother Gus Kunkel of Cincinnati, O.

Elderly Man Was Street Railway Employee in Mule-Car Days.

      The funeral of Henry Kunkle, age eighty-three, who died Thursday at his home, 514 South East Street, will be held Monday at 9:30 a. m. at Finn Bros.' funeral parlor, burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery.
      Mr. Kunkle was born in Germany and came to Indianapolis when he was fourteen Years old. He worked with the Indianapolis Street Railway Company when the street cars were drawn by mules, remaining with the twenty-five years. In 1906 he became a guard at the Merchant's National Bank, retiring in 1922.
      He was married to Miss Mary Conniff of Hagerstown, Fifty-seven years ago. She died in 1926, Mr. Kunkle was a member of the German Lutheran church.
      Survivors are the five daughters, Mrs Henritta Cave, Mrs. Mayme Nicholas, Mrs. Agatha Brochhasen, Mrs. Sue Beck and Mrs. Anna Droege.; two sons, Harry and George Kunkle,and a brother Charles Kunkle, all of Indianapolis: a brother,Gus Kunkle of Cincinnati, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
