He married MARY ELLEN WEINRICH March 17, 1889 in Ritchie County West Virginia, daughter of LEWIS WEINRICH and ADELINE BARKER. She was born October 28, 1869 in Mahone, Ritchie County West Virginia, and died January 05, 1952 in Rosemont West Virginia.

      Henry Hannibal Dye, the only son of William Marvin and Amanda Josephine Dye, was born on the 5th day of May, 1868 in New Matamoras, Washington County, Ohio. On the 17th day of March, 1889, in Harrisville, Ritchie County West Virginia, Henry married Mary Ellen Weinrich, who was the daughter of Lewis and Adeline Barker Weinrich. Mary Ellen was born on the 28th day of October, 1869, at Mahone, Ritchie county, West Virginia.

      Henry and Mary Ellen Dye had seven children who were Ethel, born on the 17th day of March, 1890, Jessie born on the 24th day of March, 1893, Rose, born on the 2nd day of February, 1895, Carrie born on the 17th day of April, 1897, William Marvin, born on the 15th day of December 1899, and Edith born on the 7th day of April, 1904, Virginia, born on the 5th day of August 1908. All of these children were born in West Virginia.

      Henry Hannibal Dye was a farmer. He died on the 16th day of May, 1947, and Mary Ellen died on the 5th day of January 1952, both died and are buried in Clarksburg, Harrison County, West Virginia

      Henrys obituary on 5/16/1947 in the Clarksburg Telegram read as follows:

Henry H. Dye, 79, a retired farmer, died at 6:45 am today at his Liberty Addition home after a long illness.

Born January 5, 1868 in Monroe County Ohio, he was the only son of William and Amanda Folger Dye. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Mary Weinrich Dye, five daughters, Mrs. Harley Wolfe of Liberty Addition, Mrs . Rose McClung of Chester, Mrs. W.:L. Bragg of Brown, Mrs Dewey Elliott of Liberty Addition, and Mrs. Evelyn Romine at home. One son, William M. of Midland Pa, twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dye was a member of the Oakdale United Brethern Church of Wyatt.

Mary Ellen Weinrich Dye's obituary read as follows:

Ill five weeks, Mrs. Mary Ellen Dye, 82, died at 11:30 PM Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Yocco, of Rosemont.

A native of Ritchie county, she was born October 28, 1869, a daughter of Lew and Adaline Barker Weinrich. She was the widow of Henry Dye whose death occurred May 16, 1947.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Harley Wolfe of Bridgeport, Mrs. rose McClung of Englewood California, Mrs. W.L. Bragg of Brown, Mrs. Dewey Elliott of Bristol, and Mrs. Yocco of Rosemont. One son, William of Midland PA and a foster son Sergt. John L. Skinner in the army in Germany. Three sisters, Mrs Sue Williams, of Englewood, Mrs. George Berry of Sherman Oaks California and Mrs. Lizzie Crummit of Ravenswood. There are thirty two grandchildren and thirty six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dye was a member of the North Clarksburg EUB Church.
