I am searching for information about Albert Pike COYLE, a Chickasaw Indian born August 14, 1859 in Tishomingo, Indian Territory ( & Harley Institute student). He married Clarissa Jane McMAHAN September 11, 1880. They had eight children: Mary Ella, James Thomas, Albert Pike, Benjamin Harrison, Ernest Earl, Mabel Pearl, Lillie Audrey and Violet Theresa (my gg grandmother & Bloomfield student). They remained in the Southern Oklahoma area, Pike, I.T. I have some info about the children, but I am at a stopping point with A. P. COYLE Sr's parents and siblings. I think A. P. COYLE Sr. had a sister named Jane. She married O'Savior DURODERIGO. On the Chickasaw Roll Card #555, their children are Mary McMillan, Albert Franklin Duroderigo, Columbus Duroderigo and Eliza Duroderigo. What is strange is that Mary's maiden name on her marriage license is DRANGNESS. She married W. A. MCMILLAN on April 22, 1900.
I am also researching the GORDON'S. John GORDON married Mourne SEAL (father Anthony SEAL) on August 24, 1816, in Rockbridge County, VA. Their children are John II, Sarah, Elizabeth, William, Robert, and Samuel. Also, John GORDON II, married Sarah PALMER on January 26, 1843 in Staunton, VA. They had four children: Adam Henry, Samuel Franklin, Sarah Margaret and Jacob Wesley b: April 28, 1851. The last two children were born in Ohio, and John GORDON died there as well. His gravemarker & DOD are unknown. The family resided in Gallia County, Ohio. Sarah and her children moved back to Augusta Co., VA to live with her father, Adam PALMER.
In addition, I am researching Charles Milton WICKER b: 1880 in Missouri, m: Amanda Jane ROBINSON, children- Charles, Edgar, Emmaline (Moseley), Mary (Berg), Bonnie Bess (Moore), Johnnie (Chazel), and Ira Clifford (my grandfather killed in automobile accident while in the Navy in 1956.)
My husband is researching the BRADSHAW'S in Kentucky & Illinois. John Henry BRADSHAW, b: Dec 8, 1874 m: Nora Irene FORD. They resided in Central City, KY and had nine children: Yule (Jack), Henrietta, Bessie Mae, Emma Dean, Clayton Jay, Oval J., Isabell, Hazel, and Render. He is also researching Joseph CORNELL from England married Mary MEYERS. Child is George Edward CORNELL (b: 1866 in England) married Bertha VETTERS in Lockport, Will Co., IL in 1900. Their children are Henry, Raymond, Zelda, Bertha, George "Tip", & May.
Any information about the above families would be greatly appreciated. If we are researching some of the same families, then please email or snail mail me so that we can compare/share information. Thanks!
