ILLIAM J. TICEN:
William J. Ticen and his wife, Hanna, moved to Green County, 0hio in 1825.

Recorded land deeds to the Union Baptist Church at Xenia, Ohio, County Seat of Green County, show that William was a trustee of that church. The marriage licenses for Rachel, Hanna and Richard are also recorded. William was evidently very active in community activates as is shown by the large number of articles concerning him in both the Library at Xenia, Ohio and Bellbrook, 0hio.

William lived in the Bellbrook community where he worked as a teamster and farmer. He died in 1852 at the age of eighty and is buried in the Bellbrook Pioneer Cemetery in Bellbrook, Ohio.

  Notes for RICHARD TICEN:
Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Civil War. After he returned home from the war, he married Ada Hosier.

  v.   EVAN TICEN, d. 1862.
  Notes for EVAN TICEN:
Evan served in the U.S. Army during the Civil War. He was wounded during the war and died in an army hospital at Nashville, Tennessee.
