Our mobile society and my need to anchor my sense of belonging motivated me to publish the book shown above in 1993. That book was based on about 3500 names, and sold out quickly. If is now in reprint.[Higginson Book Co.148 Washington St. Salem, MA 01970, Ph. 978-745-7170] I have not done any original research recently. However, I am active with my computer connections. My name data base in FTM is now about 5500.

I plan to use this HOME PAGE to share with you what I have in my computer. Publishing another book or even revising my book is too costly and too much work. I now have the best job of my life. Retirement provides me the opportunity to "play" full time.

I encourage everyone interested in understanding their heritage and family history to commit themselves to original research. Please don't rely completely on the computer and the internet to answer all your questions. Go to achives, libraries etc. to get the primary source documents that you need.

I have placed a large quantity of my files and information in the Benton County, TN Library in Camden, TN. They would welcome a visit from you. Many libraries have my book.
