I am researching the John Joseph Brennan family from Ireland who took up residence in Springfield, MA in the late 1800's. He married Mary Crowley and they had three sons, Thomas, Margaret and John. Their son John moved to CT where he married Anita Piorkowski and they had three children; John, Robert, and Thomas. This last John was born in 1924 and was known as John, Jr. (or Jack). He married Violet May Ivy Chapman and moved to Pittsburgh where he and Violet had five children; John III, William, Patricia, James and Daniel. I am John the III and have moved from Pittsburgh and now reside in Maine with my wife, Dorothy and our seven children, including John IV.
In addition to the Brennan research, I am looking for information on the family of Ernest Chapman and Sarah Hughes, the parents of my mother Violet May Ivy Chapman. They came to CT from England around 1900. Any additional information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
