John Richard, eldest son of Loris and Mary Brewer, was born on September 7, 1953, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Better known to family and friends as "Rick", he met an untimely death on July 6, 1977, in Laurel, Prince Georges County, Maryland. He is buried in the Union Cemetery in Prince Georges County Maryland, near the community of Burtonsville.
