Billy Zane "Buzz" Braswell (November 5, 1926 - November 30, 2006), son of Homer Ray Braswell (1891-1933) and Sarah Arbelle Hutcheson (1896-1984), was a treasured family friend for more than half a century. Both Navy veterans of the WWII era, Buzz and Loris served together on a ship during the 'Korean Police Action' time frame. Buzz was a retired Detective of the Dallas Texas Police Department after having served them for more than 35 years! This photograph was taken on Christmas day 1990 at the home of Loris and Mary Brewer near Bear Creek in Cedar County, Missouri. Our dear and steadfast friend is sadly missed.
