Loris O. Brewer Sr. (1905-1988) is pictured here in 1974. Loris Jr. and Mary were returning from a driving trip to California and made a scheduled return stop at Pop's home in Westlake, Louisiana. He accepted their invitation to accompany them to their home in Silver Spring, Maryland, for a 'mini vacation'. While enroute, this snapshot was taken outside a motel near Fayetteville, North Carolina.
