This sketch by Alma Jeannette Brewer Strawn depicts the second of three buildings (the first one was built in 1851) used by the Methodist Episcopal Church South in Lytton Springs, Texas. This 1887 structure was located on the present day site of the Lytton Springs Cemetery and was replaced in 1920 by one designed and constructed by Alma's father, Henry Albert Brewer (1878-1925).
