The snaphot of these young lassies was taken in about 1929 in Hale Center, Texas. On the far right is Velva Frances Brewer (1912-2002). Identity of young lady in the center is unknown. On the far left is the 1st cousin to Velva, Emma Louise Campbell (1913-1997). Both are granddaughters of Dr. John Campbell Brewer (1847-1920) and Margaret Louisa Cardwell (1856-1942).
