This 1899 photograph shows the "H.C. Harris & Sons" store in Lytton Springs, Caldwell County, Texas. Standing on the porch are Henry Washington 'Wash' Harris (1871-1923) and Wesley Smith Harris (1854-1930), sons of Henry Clay Harris (1844-1923). The Lytton Springs Post Office was also located in the store and both 'Wash' and Wesley, as well as their father, served as Postmasters. Photograph provided though courtesy of Tom and Nelda Dannelly.
