Circa 1883, this is the wedding picture of Dr. Henry W. Culpepper (1850-1944) and Sallie Denham (1866-1933). Dr. Culpepper received his medical degree from Tulane University and practiced medicine in Houston, Texas, for a number of years. He later relocated his practice to Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. Henry and Sallie are buried in the Newlin Cemetery in Beauregard Parish near the town of Singer.
