This photograph was taken in about 1894 in Lytton Springs, Caldwell County, Texas. The bearded gentleman standing under the porch roof on the back row, second from the right, is Henry Clay Harris (1844-1923); patriarch of the Harris families. The matriarch of the Harris families is shown in the front row; Leanah Pollard Harris (1850-1929). She is easily identified by her trademark; a long white apron. The original picture was last known to be in the custody of Annie Grace Harris Young (1890-1974). This copy was provided through the courtesy of Henry Worth Harris (1916-2005), grandson of Henry Clay Harris and Leanah Pollard Harris.
