| Hi I'm known as Tony my wife is Carol. we are doing both our genealogys and are researching the following surnames, Brizzell, Brizzle, Brizel or any other variants particularly from the 1800's in Ballymena, Antrim area of Ireland. My g,grandfather was Daniel Brizzle he first married Agnes Brizzle nee Irvine(Irwin) I think his birth was abt 1872 and death date abt 1949 and I understand he was married twice his other wife was Sarah Ann Caldwell( Callwell). I believe Agnes was his first wife and the mother of my grandmother Ellen Jane Brizzell born 1898 died 1982(his father was Samuel & he had at least 2 brothers, William & Alexander). I don't know of any siblings of my grandmother. These are all on my father's side. On my mothers I'm looking for Bergman of Le Touquet, Paris Plage, FRANCE,also Brassuere and Tramcourt. My wife Carol is looking on her mothers side for Frayne's(DuFresne)& Catherine Nolan of the Dublin area 1850's or earlier. Ste(a)dman of Arundel, Sussex, England about the same time married Frayne Australia. Steadman & Hamilton Hay New Zealand,Hay & Eaton N.Z., Stephen Payne Smith and Jane Rebecca Hedgeland of London, England all about the 1800s. On her fathers side the name Edwin Baker particularly with Tasmanian connections,Please reply to e-mail, always glad to make new contacts. more info to follow. |
