Hi, my name is Jeanne. I am researching the Vanlandingham/Valandingham families of Carter County Kentucky and wherever else they may lead me. So far, I have traced back from present day back to Auston Valandingham. Auston was born September 12, 1858 and died March 09, 1890. He married Pearlina or Lina Jessie/Jesse. She was born August 13, 1858 and died February 02, 1944. They had 4 children, Mary Elizabeth, Maggie, Ab or Albert and Minnie. I believe they had one more that died very young. My family is descended through Ab. Ab was my grandfather. Any help I can get on any of the Vanlandingham/Valandingham family will be greatly appreciated. I will be more than willing to share the information that I have collected.
