I am searching for information on 7 different major lines in my family tree. I have found several different types of information about the families in cluding the Bridges, Houghs, Adays, Walls, Barkers, Blackwoods, Scoggins, Lundquists, Lowmans, Mercers, Fleckensteins, and Reichards. From the Bridges line, I've followed the usual Internet info all the way back to William Bridges Sr. Born about 1700 in Prince William, Virginia. His kids were; William Jr. Bridgesb.d. 1726 Mary Bridgesb.d. 1728 Thomas Bridgesb.d. 1730 Benjamin Bridgesb.d. 1732 Joseph Bridgesb.d. 1734 James Bridgesb.d. 1736 John Bridgesb.d. 1738 Richard Bridgesb.d. 1740 Main lines to follow would be any info on these individuals other than birth & death dates, and birth and death places. This I already have. I've been searching for the Hough line for three years. I'm stopped at Chapman Levy Hough. According to his Biography, he was born in South Carolina March 26, 1818 and died in Parks, Arkansas in 1935. He was a school teacher, a Surveyor, Justice of the peace for two counties (one in Ark. & One in Alab.) He Married Emily Thrasher in Lauderdale County, Alabama, December 23, 1853. But she passed on less than a year later. I have files leading back to the mid-1700's on the Thrasher line. Two years after Emily died, Chapman married Martha P. A. Bourland. They were married July 23, 1856 in Lauderdale County, Alabama. After Having six children with Martha, Chapman passed on in 1935 in Parks, Scott County, Arkansas. He is Buried there as well. It is believed that Chapmans parents names were Greenberry & Hettie Hough. I found records of Chapman Hough in the 1850 Census, he was living with the family of George Grimes. Georges wifes name was Hettie. I almost assumed Greenberry to be a nick-name. Chapman & Marthas children are; William P. Houghb.d. 1860 John Morgan Houghb.d. 1863 Hettie L. Houghb.d. 1865 Calvin Taff Houghb.d. 1871(GGrandfather) Rosannah Houghb.d. 1877 Joe Houghb.d. 1879 I've also been tracing the Aday family for several years. Just like before, I've found alot of info about the Aday family back to Edmond, Boaz Walter, Horatio, & Robert Aday. I also have very limited info on their father, Walter. I haven't followed this line very far, since the mass of my studies have been on the other family names I'm seeking. The one family that means the most to me in the means of finding info is that of the Walls. George Spencer Walls is the direct ancestor here. He was born 1828 in Rutherford County, Tennessee. He married Susan Avery November 18, 1850 in Henry County, Tenn. I have files of the Avery family from the Internet going back to John Avery whose birth date is about 1763. With Susan, they had six children. They Were; Mary Jane Wallsb.d. 1852 William Gibson Wallsb.d. 1853 James Lewis Wallsb.d. May 7, 1856 George Spencer Jr.b.d. 1858 John Wallsb.d. 1859 Henry Merritt Wallsb.d. 1862 The last child bears the name of George Spencers Father, Henry Merritt Walls. I believe he was born 1798 and died 1878 in Merimac township, Missouri. There are two names related to Henry as far as a wife goes. Mahalia Higgins was a full blood Cherokee Indian, therefore, there is little record of her. The other lady's name was Susannah Higdon. They were married in Rutherford County, Tennessee. I have info on Susannah & Henrys' children, including names, but very limited from there. The Barker Line is another direct Ancestry. Charles Abner Barker was my GGGrandfather. I have quite abit of info on him and his family. It's his Father that eludes me. I believe his name to be Iraba S. Barker. He was born 1820 in Spartenburg, S.C. and died 1890 in Walker County, Alabama. He married Susannah Mackelrath (McElrath, Mucklewrath, Muckelrath, McIr
